Albir Albir is wedged between Benidorm and Altea. Albir’s beach is called “Playa de Racó de l’Albir” and is around 600 meters long and goes up to the port of Altea. The beach is not that busy as in Benidorm, probably because it’s rather stony. During the summer the beach is monitored by life-guards. The wide streets near the beach lined with trees provide a natural atmosphere. The “Paseo de Estreles” offer enough free parking spaces for everybody (except in the direct beach area). The atmosphere of the beaches is quiet. Even in July and August it is not overcrowded. The views to the impressive “Peñon de Ifach” (Calpe) are amazing. There are also public toilets situated in the middle of the boulevard. Along the beach you will find facilities to rinse your feet with fresh water before you leave the beach. There are 2 children’s playgrounds where the little kids can have some safe fun. Albir Photos
