El Campello

El Campello is a lovely historic fishing village about 11 kilometers from Alicante which offers numerous shops, bars & restaurants. The place is not bustling. The population is characterized by a diverse mix of foreigners, mainly being British, German, Scandinavian, and French.
The area is well known with its sandy beaches, the port, the fishing port, the Club Nautical and the large promenade: an excellent tourist destination next to Alicante.

El Campello has 23 kilometers of coastline with beautiful beaches with steal clear waters offering a landscape of contrasts. The 10 km golden sandy beaches and the traffic free promenade offer plenty of space also during the summer season. Along with broad, sandy beaches such as Muchavista, there are also cliffs and small coves, such as those of La Coveta Fuma, La Merced, and Lanuza.

The public transport is ideal with tram to Alicante and Benidorm, and bus to Alicante town. Alicante offers all amenities and an extensive varied cultural life with museums, exhibitions, concerts, etc.

Next to El Campello, inland, is Busot: a small, charming village with 1,500 inhabitants. The houses are grouped around a hill topped by a 12th century Moorish castle. Busot is situated within sight of the Cabeco d’ Or (Golden Hill) which offers beautiful views over the sea, Campello and neighboring towns. Busot is sitting in a vast and beautiful wilderness, peaceful and tranquil with its lack of nightlife and extensive construction works.
