Water: that most precious of commodities, is the subject mater for this year’s exhibition of entries for ‘H2O’. Sponsored by Caja Madrid, the exhibition was inaugurated by Councillor for Culture, Eduardo Dolon, José Blanco, Head of Culture Department for Caja Madrid, museum director municipal, Lola Sanchez accompanied councillors Joaquín Albaladejo, Pedro Valero and Lola Canales.

This is the third year that Aqua H2O has come to Torrevieja and this unique exhibition includes some thirty winning posters and selected entries from the fifth edition of the Poster Award’s from Caja Madrid. The poster art on display is designed to make one think about the and reflect on the need to generate ecological awareness of the value of water in our lives, to prevent our most valuable resource form being contaminated and wasted. This exhibition is to recognize the efforts of artists and designers, so as to echo the social reality that demands the attention of us all.

The exhibition is on display at the Vista Alegre Exhibition Centre throughout August before continuing on tour to other cities around Spain. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
