Polop is known as an Oasis of the Costa Blanca near the mountains, right at the foot of the Sierra Bernia and near to La Nucia, but still close to the coast and Benidorm. Polop offers great views all the way down to the sea at Altea, Albir, Benidorm, and also a panoramic view across the countryside.

The small village is attractive with its silhouette of Ponoch, the sleeping lion of Gabriel Miró, and the profile of the town with its tower. The famous Font dels Xorrets has 221 water spouts. It’s worth to walk is from here to the cemetery, and to visit the parish church and the ancient cemetery with the remains of Moorish walls.

The area together with La Nucia offers all facilities international people would expect in order to make a stay here or to live here all year round.
