San Juan de Alicante San Juan de Alicante is a beautiful coastal town, situated along the coastlines just 4-5 km north of Alicante. The town is divided into two sections: San Juan Playa and San Juan Pueblo. San Juan Playa with its sandy beach spread over 7 km is fantastic. The beach area is extending from the Cabo of Las Huertas to the Mutxavista Beach and El Campello. Along the beach lines are all kind of facilities, hotels, restaurants, and in general during high season a very busy nightlife. San Juan de Alicante has some important monuments such as the Parish Church, the monastery of Santa Faz, also the 18th century hermitage Calvario, the 16th century St Anne, and the hermitage of San Roque, built during the 19th century.
